Capt. Henry (Hank) Parker, US Army, Retired. Henry is a two tour, twice wounded Vietnam combat veteran. First wounded on Feb 22, 1969 while serving with the 101st Airborne as an Artillery Forward Observer and wounded on April 19, 1971 while serving as a MACV advisor which resulted in his medical retirement. After lengthy hospitalizations and reconstructive surgeries Henry returned to Boise to complete his undergraduate education at Boise State University and graduate education @ Our Lady of the Lake University in Texas with a master in Social Work. Henry was employed at the Boise Veterans Administration Hospital where he developed an inpatient alcohol/drug treatment program and an Outpatient PTSD program. He is the past Commander for the Idaho Department of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and current President of the 27th Field Artillery Regiment Association. Henry is proud to be a soldier and proud to have served his Country. Henry resides in Eagle with his wife Susan.
